Danville Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Nominees for 2008 Educator, Business, Citizen and Charitable Organization, of the Year Awards to be Presented at the 2009 Installation Dinner

The Chamber is pleased to announce the nominees for 2008 Educator of the Year: Sara Little, Monte Vista High School; Jacquie Fanelli, Charlotte Wood Middle School; John Geltmeyer, Del Amigo High School. This award will be presented by The Sentinel.

The 2008 Business Person of the Year nominees are: Marty Breen, Forward Motion Sports; Jerry Hettinger, J. Hettinger Interiors; Darlene and George Gayler, Gayler Construction. This award will be presented by Bay Area News Group-East Bay/Tri-Valley Herald.

The 2008 Citizen of the Year nominees are: Elaine Cortez Schroth, Bay Building Maintenance; Dee Thompson, Law Office of Terry L. Thompson; Brad Blake, Blake Hunt Ventures. This award will be presented by Bay Area News Group-East Bay/Valley Times. Congratulations to all of the nominees.

The 2008 Charitable Organization of the Year nominees are: Friends of Discovery/Thrift Station, Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area, San Ramon Valley Education Foundation. This award will be presented by The Danville Weekly. Congratulations to all of the nominees.
