2010 Bay Area Buddy Walk

Come walk a mile with us! Over the last fourteen years, the Buddy WalkTM has become the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome and has become a major platform for inclusion in communities across the country. This year it's at Little Hills Ranch and due to the generosity of Little Hills Ranch personnel we will have access to a full day of family fun with exclusive use of this great facility. Cool activities are included with your registration, like swimming, rock climbing, playground, air brush tattoos, bounce house, volleyball and much more.

Most importantly we will walk approximately a mile together to promote acceptance and awareness for all people with Down syndrome.

Special thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Walnut Creek who has volunteered to do all the BBQ’ng and provide the food for this great event.

Don't miss our concert with Public Eye – A high-energy rock band, specializing in great music, dance-able rock songs from the 70's thru today.

Please tell everyone you know about the Buddy Walk.

The DSCBA has a goal of $75k this year and you can help us make that happen. All proceeds go directly to our programs which allows us to continue the work we are privileged to do every day for wonderful families throughout the Bay Area. More than 40% of our budget comes from our fundraising efforts as we are not funded by the government so this event really does keep our doors open. Please help us make this the greatest Buddy Walk ever!

Your organization may participate in our effort to support these vital programs by acting as a sponsor of our
annual Buddy Walk at any one of the following levels:

BRONZE SPONSOR ($500): includes acknowledgement in our quarterly newsletter and our website.

SILVER SPONSOR ($1,000): includes acknowledgement and your company logo in our quarterly newsletter, our website, flyers and t-shirt.

GOLD SPONSOR ($2,500): all of the above plus your company highlighted as a sponsor on our signage of your choice (provided by sponsor) at the event, and your company highlighted in newspaper ads regarding the event.

PLATINUM SPONSOR ($5,000): all of the above plus your company's booth at our event highlighting your product/service, the opportunity to speak at our event about your company, and your company highlighted in all Public Service Announcements.
