THRIVE - Facilitators - Multiple Locations

We have several positions available for proactive, detail-oriented, compassionate individuals, with strong teaching and facilitating skills, and/or experience working with individuals with ID/D to facilitate our THRIVE program within small group settings of 8-10 students. Positions are available in several locations. These paid positions average 2 - 2.5 hours per week including preparation time and in-class group time.

Community Engagement Coordinator - Peninsula

The DSCBA is looking to hire a Peninsula Community Engagement Coordinator with the following skills and experience:

Friendly, passionate and enthusiastic individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will require communication with members, working with various teams to research, develop, organize, implement and maintain local programs, as well as encouraging fundraising efforts, and cultivating and engaging volunteers. Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Board Certified Music Therapist (BC-MT) - San Mateo/Peninsula

The DSCBA is looking to hire Board Certified Music Therapists (BC-MT)

Seeking qualified individuals to facilitate 2-3 monthly classes. Experience leading music therapy groups needed. Ideal candidates will have the ability to use music technology for effective music therapy interventions and have knowledge of the principals of child development as well as experience working with infants, children, teens, young adults, and adults with developmental disabilities, DS, and ASD.  Need to have proficient musical skills in piano and guitar.  Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
